Why are you called Simply Stout?

Stout is my big hunky Chocolate Lab. When stitching together a stuffed toy for his first birthday, I realized how much I enjoyed the process and wanted to grow this idea. After many awful ideas I said "I just want to make toys for Stout" and from that, Simply Stout was born. Although Stout crossed the rainbow bridge in the spring of 2026, his spirit lives on in every piece that I make. 

Why are you unique?

We create each item start to finish by hand in our home studio. Nothing is produced offsite, and we take the ultimate pride in the quality of our products. Creating items in small batches allows us to easily monitor quality, and gives you an item not easily found elsewhere. 

What is the product inspiration?

We like working with prints and patterns that reflect what we want to wear in our own fashion choices. Of course, there is a time and a place for everything- and sometimes you need to share your love of donuts.
